Pot Roast
So simple, so tasty. Cooking it low and slow makes the meat get so tender.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 chuck roast (gite de noix ou joue de boeuf)
- 1 packet of french onion soup mix
Instructions
- Put roast in roasting pan.
- Sprinkle with dry soup mix.
- Fill pan with 1″ of water. Cover w/foil.
- Bake at 325° F / 162° C- 1 hour per pound
- For gravy:
- Heat pan on stove, add water/flour mixture, stir. Add salt & pepper & brewed coffee
